CELEBRATI`ON COMMITTEE
2026 HONOREES
It is with immense joy and deep gratitude that we come together to celebrate and honor our most cherished supporters, especially those remarkable individuals who shine brightly as this year’s honorees.
RUTH COCHRAN
Advocate of the Year
Ruth Cochran discovered CASA in an unexpected way, but quickly found a meaningful path as a dedicated advocate for youth in need of support and stability. Since being sworn in, she has served two youth, building lasting relationships and offering consistent guidance during pivotal moments in their lives.

She has also taken on a Youth Justice case, providing compassionate, steady support to a young person navigating a complex system while ensuring the court sees both progress and potential.
Beyond her advocacy, Ruth is an active participant in both the Comunidad CASA and the Youth Justice affinity groups, contributes to advocate training, supports community outreach, and shares her professional expertise to strengthen CASA’s systems.
In recognition of her compassion, initiative, and unwavering commitment, Ruth Cochran will be honored as Advocate of the Year at this year’s CASA Celebration.

THE WITTKOP FAMILY
Children's Champion
Supporting CASA OC is truly a family commitment for the Wittkops. Courtney Wittkop has served the organization in countless ways — as a staff member, Holiday Luncheon Chair, and member of the CASA OC Board of Directors, where she has taken on multiple leadership roles.
Her husband, Andrew, has also been an active supporter, volunteering at the CASA back-to-school picnic and recruiting colleagues from PIMCO to get involved. The family’s generosity has been further amplified through matching gifts from PIMCO, extending the impact of their financial contributions.
Their children, Amelia (14) and Owen (12), have grown up alongside CASA OC. For years, they have supported the organization through Kids for CASA including selling pinwheels for CASA's annual Pinwheel Project and volunteering to help set-up at CASA's youth picnic and holiday party.
In recognition of their extraordinary dedication and collective impact, the entire Wittkop family will be honored with the Children’s Champion Award at this year’s CASA Celebration.
