FUND A BACK-TO-SCHOOL BACKPACK

DONATE $100 TO FUND A BACK-TO-SCHOOL BACKPACK

Each year, during our annual "John's" Back-to-School Picnic, CASA provides 400 brand-new backpacks filled with school supplies, along with a gift card to help students start the new school year prepared. This year, Karina's Backpack Project is partnering with CASA to implement this wonderful initiative.

Karina's Backpack Project (KBP), which is fiscally sponsored by the Joy of Sharing Foundation, was founded by Karina Tarsadia in 2018. Its purpose is to celebrate the back-to-school experience and equip young students with the essential supplies they need to begin the school year. Karina was inspired to create the Backpack Project after participating in service trips to places like India, Cambodia, and Africa through her family's foundation, the Tarsadia Foundation. With her family’s emphasis on education and the importance of putting one's best foot forward, she established the Backpack Project to help other young students feel prepared with the materials they need to succeed in school.
